Lathe Department

We provide custom CNC machining using precision lathes. Our CNC lathes are equipped with 9-axis cutting abilities and live tooling, allowing us to produce complex parts that require multiple machining processes such as drilling, threading, and contouring, in a single set-up. Our lathes have 5-axis machining capabilities, which means most parts can be produced in a single cycle.

Bar feeders can be used in conjunction with the CNC lathes to expedite production of parts that are made from bar stock material up to 2.625” in diameter. For larger bar stock or for parts that are produced from other forms of raw material, such as castings, chuck lathes can be used to hold work pieces up to 18” in diameter. With multiple pieces of equipment at our disposal, we can optimize the manufacturing process to keep lead times and costs as low as possible. All while still providing premium quality, precision machined components in a wide array of materials, sizes, and volumes. We work with standard materials such as steel, stainless steel, and engineering plastics, as well as exotic metals, ceramics, and composites.

For customers seeking a single-source manufacturing solution, we can facilitate any secondary process, such as grinding, plating, and assembly, as needed. In addition to machining production parts, we can provide prototypes and repair existing equipment and machinery components for any industry. All lead times are quoted on a job by job basis, depending on the scope of the project. Expedited service is available to accommodate rush orders in emergency situations. Multi-Axis Lathes

Multi-Axis Lathes enable cutting on the 4th and 5th Axis. We Utilize Our Cam Works and Cad Software to manipulate different processes and tooling configurations which enables us to identify issues before we start the job. Also with the integrated bar feeders we are able for unattended machine runs.

Chuck Lathes

Chuck Lathes are used when the part is too large to be bar fed or the material is not available in bar form, such as castings. We can chuck up to 18" in diameter. We also do prototyping and repair work for all industries.
